Your wedding day is all about celebrating your love for another person and letting everyone know that this is how you feel. You want to throw a party that all of your guests will be talking about many years from now. We all have ideas that we would like to have put into place, but many of them come from movies that aren’t very realistic. Nobody says that you can’t have what you want, but is important that you realise the limitations that any venue can offer. It is your big day, but it is also a day for your many guests and so you need to make decisions not only for what you want, but on what your guests would like.
You can find numerous Sydney wedding venues, but it’s all about finding the right one for you. Once you find the right venue that will allow you to make all of your wedding day plans, you need to start pulling out all of the stops to make sure that your wedding day stands out from the rest. The following are just some tips on how you can do just that.
- Keep the wedding ceremony short – Everyone wants to celebrate your big day and they are all happy that you have found the love of your life, but nobody wants to be standing in a registry office or church for hours on end. Try to keep the wedding ceremony as short as possible so that you keep everyone’s attention and nobody gets bored.
- Provide transport – Many people fail to enjoy the meal and the entertainment due to the fact that they had to drive themselves to the venue. They will have a lot more fun if transport was provided for them that would pick them up from one point and deliver them to the venue.
- Create a seating chart – Many people just let the guests turn up and sit where they want, but this is not a good idea at all. You might place someone beside an ex-boyfriend or girlfriend and this will make their meal really uncomfortable. It is important to group people together that are of similar backgrounds and interests, so that they will have plenty to talk about while they are enjoying your big day.
These are only three examples and there are many, many more. If at all possible, set up an open bar that offers other drinks such as cocktails and this will help your day get off to a flying start.
